Dr. Sara Farahmand is a board-certified toxicologist and skin scientist with over 15 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. As the Director of Toxicology, Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Claims, and Clinical Programs at The Honest Company, she oversees safety, regulatory, and clinical/claims programs across a wide range of products, including cosmetics, over-the-counter medications, and baby care items.
Before joining The Honest Company, Dr. Farahmand held regulatory toxicologist and safety manager positions at several multinational companies, including Clorox, Procter & Gamble, Avon, and Edgewell Personal Care. She is actively involved in the Society of Toxicology, served as the Executive Council of the Dermal Toxicology Specialty Section, and is currently the President of the Sustainable Chemicals Through Contemporary Toxicology group.
